When Did the parade first start?
The parade first started sometime in the 1960s. The earliest recorded photo is dated May 30, 1964, and it was often organized by local veterans to honor those who died in service.

The parade has long been part of North Highlands history. It’s a decades-old tradition that brings together veterans, service members, and the community.

The parade will begin on I Street near Family Community Church, and conclude on A Street near Peenoy Grocery.
